Description

We welcome all secular and nontheistic Californians to our 2016 Secular Lobby Day!

In-person lobbying from constituents is still the most effective method for reaching elected officials. We need as many secular and nontheistic people to speak up and show their elected officials that secular Californians are voting, paying attention to the issues, and must be recognized as a constituency.

No experience is necessary, we will provide training on general lobbying and on the specific topics for our lobbying visits. After training, everyone will split into small groups and go to the offices of elected officials.

Tentative Schedule

8:45am-9am - Registration
9am-11am - Lobby Training and Practice

1pm-4:30pm - Meetings and Drop-ins w/ Legislative Offices
